Roman Saltimbocca
This Saltimbocca all romana recipe is such a showstopper that its name literally translates as ‘jumps in the mouth’. Each tasty little parcel combines thinly pounded delicate veal (or turkey), salty parma ham and fragrant sage leaves. This Italian main course recipe is also deceptively easy as you can assemble the parcels in advance and then wow your guests within 5 minutes. Some recipes use flour to thicken the sauce but I prefer the sauce lighter and gluten-free. Thinly pounded turkey breasts work well instead of veal.
Balsamic Beef Steak Salad
Tagliata is one of my favourite steak salad recipes and one that I make for supper almost once a week. The Italian word tagliata simply refers to the way that the steak is cut and so there are many variations of this Italian beef and rucola salad. I use fillet steak for this beef tagliata recipe to keep the dish light and low fat. Because it is light but also so tasty, I find this steak salad recipe works well in both summer and winter. Best of all, this beef tagliata salad is ready in less than 20 minutes, making it the perfect last-minute luxury supper.
Easy Beef Pho
This beef pho recipe is quick and easy to make at home. It uses healthy bone broth infused with Vietnamese aromatics - healthy low-calorie beef pho soup in minutes.
